It was 1950 when the construction of the Maggia hydroelectric plants began to profoundly transform the Maggia Valley, marking an era of innovation and progress.
Today, 75 years later, the Museo di Valmaggia has decided to celebrate this history with a book and the exhibition ‘Metamorphosis of a valley’ to reveal the evolution of a work that changed the destiny of the valley.
These installations are not only an integral part of the landscape, but represent a resource for the future of Ticino.
